On which day would you choose your “national” holiday?

A thought experiment…
The noble idea behind a national holiday on October 2nd is to pause, take time to remember the teachings, and learn from the life journey of Gandhi.
However, it’s not necessary that everyone in the country may want to learn from the same person’s journey. What if you were allowed to choose your holiday on the birth anniversary of someone you admire? Who would it be?
For me, I would definitely choose 15th October, the birth anniversary of APJ Abdul Kalam, sir.
